The Just Cause Film Series invites cinefreaks and cinefans to an
evening of Tears & Fears
& Cheers at Mogwai Café, easily the best place to watch films in the
entire city.
This Saturday take a ride with Grig C. Montegrande! Imagine different
futures with
Emmanuel Dela Cruz, feel under(over) dressed with Martha Atienza!
Discover enigmatic
Laura Lappi & Dachi ma and meet the filmmaker Pepper Marcelo! In the vein of the
wonderful announcements from the Green Papaya Group (GPG), be
frivolous about this.
Shout about the Just Cause film screenings into the wind, tell your
plants and pants,
uncles and aunts and best friends and worst enemies. Whisper about it
in dark corners and
let it bask in the light of day. Just Cause doesn't need a reason, it
just is – is
without pretentions and welcome to all!
Most filmmakers will be present for Q & A's after their film screenings.
For more information about the featured films, read on further. We
have also included
some stills from Dachi ma's NEVERTHELESS & THE MYSTERIES OF NATURE.
