WHAT IS THE MOONRISE FILM FESTIVAL? The Moonrise Film Festival showcases independent documentaries from the Philippines, by Philippines artists, on issues directly pertaining to the Philippines . This festival has never been to the Pacific Northwest , so please come out and support!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE The Moonrise Film Festival is open to:
Professional & Non- professional Filmmakers, video makers and multi-media artists from all over the world. Individuals, groups or organizations may submit their entries.
For this year’s festival we are actively seeking submissions from talented college and university student filmmakers from all over the country. The goal in having a student category on the festival is to show exceptional works by students and to create networking opportunities for students from all over the country.
QUALIFIED GENRES
Open only to all documentary films which haven’t been commercially produced & viewed. Feature films and other genres will be accepted for exhibition purposes only and will not be eligible to join the competition.
RUNNING TIME LIMIT
Ideal running time of all entries should be 45 minutes or less, however, we will accept entries exceeding this time provided it is fully justified
The winner for Best Documentary will receive The Grand Charlie Award, plus a check for P 100,000.00. The winners in various categories will receive trophies and cash prizes/ gift packs.
Now, what are you waiting for, submit your documentary film entries with the theme "Global Warming" or any documentary films that features Philippine environmental issues that contributes to global warming.
