Cinema Rehiyon 2010


From the mountain ranges of the Cordilleras and the vast plains of Central Luzon, through the sands that sprawl through Viasyas and the farthest corners of majestic Mindanao - see a side of Philippine independent cinema that you've never seen before.

CINEMA REHIYON 2010 features films and filmmakers from the various regions across the country, highlighting the film communities and movements rapidly growing outisde of Metro Manila:

CALABARZON
CAGAYAN DE ORO-ILIGAN
CEBU
DAVAO
ILOILO
NAGA-CAMSUR
PAMPANGA
PANGASINAN
SAMAR

To be shown during the film festival are over 70 short and full-length films, most of which are screening in Metro Manila for the first time. Stories about home, by people who live in them and spoken in their native tongue.

ALL SCREENINGS ARE FREE.

CINEMA REHIYON 2010 is the flagship project of the NCCA Committee on Cinema in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Philippines and Crossing Negros Cultural Foundation, Inc.
