Squatterpunk @ The Wuds 25th Anniversary Concert

    Khavn de la Cruz’s Squatterpunk will be featured and scored live by the legendary band The Wuds at the Concert at the Park, Luneta. July 13, Sunday 5 pm.

About Squatterpunk:

    An ode to joy amidst poverty, SQUATTERPUNK is the pre-Spanish Philippine part of Khavn's "Black Silence Trilogy" ("2. Ultimo", "3. The Longest Moment You're Not Here"). Set in the slums of Manila , we follow the lives of the youth as they scavenge the garbage beach for a living while still managing to play around.

    Khavn De La Cruz is a filmmaker, musician and writer who has won numerous awards both here and abroad. His current films will be featured at the Paris Cinema International Film Festival (France), Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema (India), Motovun Film Festival (Croatia) & Sarajevo Film Festival (Bosnia&Herzegovina) this July and August. His “Overdosed Nightmare” and “Ultimo” will also be featured at the Cinemalaya Film Festival with screenings on July 15 and 19 9pm.
