Kinaiinggitan si Geraldine Tan ng kanyang mga artist-friends niya dahil siya lang bukod-tangi ang may dalawang pelikula sa forthcoming Cinema One Originals Indie Film Festival. These are: Si Baning, Si Maymay, at ang Asong si Bobo directed by Rommel "Milo" Tolentino, and Paano Ko Sasabihin (formerly entitled Cyclone Loop) by Richard Legaspi.
Equally challenging ang mga papel na ginagampanan nin Geraldine Tan sa dalawang feature films na ito na buong husay niyang ginawa nang walang kahirap-hirap. And it's not surprising at all because she has always delivered sterling performances, be it in films, stage musicals/plays or concerts. Her versatility has always been beyond question whether acting, singing or dancing.
Hindi basta-bastang grupo ang pinanggalingan ni Geraldine: Repertory Philippines, New Voice Company ni Monique Wilson, Dulaang UP, CenterStage, Outline Films, UP Commission for Culture and the Arts, at iba pa. Tapos siya ng Bachelor of Music (major in voice) sa UP College of Music, Diliman, under the tutelage of Professor Emeritus Fides Cuyugan-Asensio.
She is also a holder of a Certificate in Dance (College of Human Kinetics), and also took a class in Stage Movement with Professor Emeritus Anton Juan at the UP Theater Department.
Most notable of Geraldine's numerous film outings are: Lola by Cannes Filmfest Palm D'Or Best Director, Brillante Mendoza; Mona: Singapore Escort and Latak by Jowee Morel, and Motorcycle by Jon Red and the current Cinema One Originals entries mentioned earlier.
Sa mga baguhang artista na nakasama ni Geraldine ay particularly impressed siya kay Johann Alcantara who plays her teenage son who has suicidal tendencies. "He is a very talented actor and with his enthusiasm to learn more about acting, he will surely go places." papuri ni Geraldine kay Johann.
