"Babe, I Love You,” the Anne Curtis-Sam Milby first big screen team-up, has been tagged as this summer’s hottest movie. Definitely so now with great help from Anne’s “wardrobe malfunction” that had her right breast exposed during a dance number for “ASAP XV” which was taped two Sundays ago at the Fairways & Bluewaters in Boracay recently.
That unfortunate scene, an accident of course, is still much-talked about and we hope it will lure more people to go watch the latest Star Cinema-Viva Films collaboration. Anne has charged it to experience and she hopes people would help her move on.
Anyway, “Babe, I Love You,” which follows the successful tandem of Anne and Sam in such TV projects as “Maging Sino Ka Man” and “Dyosa,” is directed by Mae Cruz who makes her first full-length feature film. Since it is their first time to be paired in a movie, the former real-life sweethearts have expressed excitement and great enthusiasm.
“The last time we worked together for a project was in ‘Dyosa,’ more than a year ago na, kaya we’re really excited to finally work together and see ourselves sa malaking screen,” Anne said.
“Babe, I Love You” tells the story of two young individuals who never thought that love can blossom right at the middle of their two opposite worlds and that a seemingly cat-dog relationship can turn into an intimate affair.
