Six films in ‘Filipino Screen’

“FILIPINO SCREEN: THE SECOND Golden Age Now,” presented by the Ayala Malls in cooperation with the Filipinas Heritage Library, features the works of six directors who were active filmmakers during the Marcos era.

Showing today at Market! Market! are Eddie Romero’s “Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon?” at 11 a.m. and Kidlat Tahimik’s “Perfumed Nightmare” at 1 p.m. Screening at Glorietta are Peque Gallaga’s “Oro Plata Mata” (11 a.m.) and Mike De Leon’s “Sister Stella L” (1 p.m.) on June 15; Ishmael Bernal’s “Himala” (11 a.m.) and “Perfumed Nightmare” (1 p.m.) on June 16; and “Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon?” (11 a.m.) and Lino Brocka’s “Bayan Ko: Kapit Sa Patalim” (1 p.m.) on June 17.
