Deathbymistake (DBM) was formed in 2007. High school classmates Jheff and Mark requested Ta-ke to take over the bass. As the band seeked for two more members, Theo, Jheff's former school mate filled in for vocals, and just one slot remained open. Francis, Shade of Arrow's drummer reached out his hand when Mark needed help. Since then, the band performed cover song within the Metro, which little by little, earned respect from the locals.
The line up changed in the latter part of the same year because of certain problems. When Francis left, Dada temporarily took over the beat. After long months, they had to ask Gino to take the stage in replace of Theo; and finally, Nick, to replace Francis.
Spreading experimental, hardcore, and screamo, the band is now ready to conquer Metro Manila's underground music scene.
