The event has the following objectives:
To intensify awareness of Filipino art and culture as an important part of the tourism industry;
To re-introduce to the present generation traditional Filipino art and culture for their appreciation and enrichment;
To promote these traditions and “old” practices, thereby heightening the uniqueness and richness of the Filipino culture; and
To deliver a fund-raising event for the benefit of the accredited communities of the Office for Community Development of the University of Santo Tomas.
