The UP FAIR is the biggest student-initiated event held annually in UP Diliman. It is a six-day musical feast which will feature today’s hottest bands in the country. Every year, this weeklong event draws a crowd ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 attendees per night.

The UP Fair is an annual event hosted by the USC with partner student organizations, aiming to raise awareness among the students, and the youth, in general, of diverse issues bearing local significance.

This year, the USC is putting a different spin on the UP Fair, as each night will feature a national issue as part of the youth agenda in the 2010 national elections: environment, good governance, internal war, and so forth. The USC Night (Saturday) is about Human Rights, with the theme: "YOUTHSTOCK: Rock, Role, Rights!"

Oriented towards a cause, the proceeds of the UP Fair will be allocated to various beneficiaries inside and outside the University. University services and facilities, such as the nine residence halls and Vinzons Hall, are chosen as one of the beneficiaries. Likewise, a percentage of the proceeds of the UP Fair shall be allotted towards the purchase of equipments for the University’s sports programs Communities surrounding the UP Diliman Campus are expected to benefit as well through the University Student Council’s semestral Community Fairs.
