The Works and Paintings of Ramona Dela Cruz-Gaston

Excerpt from "Ramona In The Details."

...Gods in every race and language appear in so many ways. Gods have always been clothed with crowns and robes, painted in symbols using gold and described in images unnatural to life. They were painted and drawn to awe and inspire races of people and lead them. But then, wouldn’t it be greater to see them in one great image altogether?

...My religious faith is “The great medallion “. I do not think my image of God is greater than the others. Every god is the same; powerful, great and inspiring. The skull symbolizes those who have died for their religion while the rose symbolizes hope that one day, people won’t have to keep fighting about religion. That people may see religion as I see it --- one great medallion.
