After weeks of community quarantine, Artinformal is pleased to announce the reopening of their Greenhills gallery starting with the anniversary exhibition of their 16th year, simply titled 16, curated by Angel Velasco Shaw.
Seven artists from different generations were asked one seemingly simple question—What does the number 16 mean to you? An onset of self-reflexive queries followed on its heels. Over the course of one year, each artist delved into their own archaeological site of personal and public memory, mathematical and creative intuition, and artistic play. Meditations on their respective oeuvre served as their catalysts. The exhibit, 16, is inspired by the 16th year anniversary of Artinformal.
