Gracing the walls of the gallery would be Nelson Castillo’s paintings for his one-man exhibit, “Infinite Skies”. Over the years, Castillo has used landscape painting as a metaphor for his own search for a sense of balance. Some of the themes he explores in his work have to do with man’s relationship with nature and the effects that man has on the environment. The works also have to do with expressing the essence of “place” and situating humanity in it.
