Uragon Night to play up a storm in Saguijo this August 17

The clamor for a third, from the day after Uragon Night 2 to present, has been too loud to ignore – more especially because there are still many Bicolano artists out there that deserve to shine.  They won; the organizers caved.  By popular demand, Uragon Night 3 is happening on the 17th of August 2019 at SaGuijo on Guijo Street in Makati City.

On the 30th of November last year, somewhere along Bagtikan Street in Makati City, Uragon Night was officially launched.  The project, which is the brainchild of friends that once owned the well-loved Wharf Galley Rock Café in Naga City, transported Bicolano bands to Manila in order for them to showcase their celebrated talents in the metro, and brought other musicians and music lovers – not only from the Bicol Region, but also from Metro Manila – together.  Due to its successful outcome, the people behind it were prompted to come up with Uragon Night 2 on the 30th of March 2019 at 70’s Bistro on Anonas Street in Quezon City, and it was a resounding success!  The venue, which is dubbed as one of the hippest places in QC and a playground for celebrity bands, was flabbergasted by the more or less 400 pax that were in attendance.

Dubbed Paggimata (translated as “awakening”), Uragon Night 3 will once again bring the noise through our featured homegrown acts: Idlepitch, 5:48, Guira, and Anesthesia. They will be playing alongside Manila-based Bicolano bands, viz., We Are Imaginary, Ashfall, St. Cockpit and rising pop act This Band.
