For “Parsing Spaces”, sculptor Nixxio Castrillo creates abstractions in his sculptures– lyrical yet succinct forms that surprise viewers with complex geometries. His works capture the tension between the spontaneity of the imagination and the restraint of meticulous craftsmanship. For Castrillo, sculpture is analyzation: a process of engaging with the material world and interpreting the possibilities it provides.
