“The Paningkamot Is Real”
Paningkamot is a Masbateño word meaning effort, initiative or endeavor. It is striving for something better, whatever the circumstances one finds him or herself in. In an exhibition of the same title, long time art contemporaries Jessa Balag and Abril Valdemoro venture on another two-person show side by side, both contributing to the conversation and presenting nodes of inspiration.
