In collaboration with UNESCO ITI Philippines, the National Parks Development Committee, the National Library of the Philippines, the Department of Education, and the Civil Military Operations Regiment.
Join us for a large-scale garden art installation at Rizal Park from June 20th to 24th, 2024. Using locally-sourced, all-Filipino natural and recycled materials, this interactive piece will allow visitors to engage in live urban gardening and Ikebana flower demonstrations.
Throughout the week, there will be FREE workshops on creative industries, including live Ikebana demos, DIY solar panel construction, beauty product creation, and painting competitions, all aimed at reducing the production and consumption of single-use plastics.
The installation welcomes private and public pledges to sustain its long-term messaging while also raising funds for the proposed beneficiary: the first-ever Library-Gallery on the disaster-stricken Siargao Island, Philippines.
