Repertory Philippines invites you to its latest production for young audiences.
Jepoy and the Magic Circle is an original Filipino musical based on the Palanca Award-winning short story The Magic Circle by Gilda Cordero Fernando.
This play centers on Jepoy and his dog, Galis, as they enter the whimsical balete world and befriend kapres, aswangs, and endangered animals.
A fantasy musical which introduces children to legendary Filipino characters and rare Filipino animals through costumes, songs, dances, simple dialogue, and puppetry. The children will get the chance to know more about these characters by conversing with some of them in the audience participation portions of the show. Through these conversations the children are reminded that the forests and the earth need caring for. Let children enter a world of fantasy and magic as they get to see a bit more about our own stories of heritage.
