ANG SABI NILA is a new series of open mic poetry nights that aims to reestablish the primal importance of listening in the appreciation and conduct of poetry. It seeks to challenge the dominant conception of the poetry night as an opportunity to perform by reminding lovers of poetry that it is also an opportunity to listen and behold the power of words.

RACHEL COATES is a storyteller who believes that empathy could save the world. A fresh ADMU grad, she has been laying down down roots in the local theatre industry as a playwright, stage actress, and director for thirteen years. She also currently rides the Philippine airwaves as a Junior Jock for Magic 89.9. You’d most often find her making/sipping tea, concocting terrible puns, or escaping into anything science fiction.
Si FAYE CURA ay alumna ng Philippine High School for the Arts, Mt Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. Nagtapos siya ng double major na History and Philosophy sa sangay ng University of the Philippines sa Baguio City, kung saan siya ipinanganak at lumaki. Bilang college student, naging fellow siya sa Ateneo National Writers Workshop at Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo. Dalawa sa tatlo niyang koleksiyon ng tula ay linathala ng High Chair, noong 2012 at 2017. Kasalukuyan niyang tinatrabaho ang pang-apat niyang koleksiyon na batay sa mga bakas ng mga tula ni Sappho. Noong 2015, binuo niya kasama ang iba pang kababaihan ang Gantala Press, isang feministang kolektibong pampanitikan na siya niyang pinaggugugulan ng maraming oras sa ngayon.
Poet and screenwriter, JERRY B. GRACIO is the recipient two National Book Awards, the Gawad Likhaan: The University of the Philippines Centennial Prize for Literature, and the 2015 Southeast Asia (SEAWrite) Award. He is the author of Waray Hiunong sa Gugma | Walang Tungkol sa Pag-ibig, a poetry collection in Waray. His latest publication is the memoir Bagay Tayo and its companion book of poetry Hindi Bagay. He is currently senior writer for ABS-CBN and serves as Commissioner for Samar-Leyte Languages at the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino.
