Anna Luna

 

She is a film, television and theater actor who has roots in the island of Marinduque. As such she has garnered several awards and recognition such as Best Actress at the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards South America in 2018 for the film Maestra directed by Lem Lorca. She has won Best Supporting Actress at Cinema One Originals in 2013 for the film Bendor directed by Ralston Jover. Likewise, she was judged Best Supporting Actress at ToFarm Film Festival in Paglipay directed by Zig Dulay. She also belonged to the 2018 Best Ensemble Acting Award along with Agot Isidro, Jojit Lorenzo and Sandino Martin for Changing Partners the Movie directed by Dan Villegas.

Anna Luna also had a citation as actress of the year in 2015 by ClicktheCity through Philbert Dy. Moreover, through the years she has been nominated at the ASEAN International Film Festival 2015 as Best Support Actress for Paglipay directed by Zig Dulay, Gawad Urian 2017 as Best Supporting Actress for the same, Cinema One Originals 2013 for Best Supporting Actress for Islands directed by Whammy Alcazaren, Cinema One Originals 2015 as Best Supporting Actress for Hamog directed by Ralston Jover, the Eddy’s Best Supporting Actress for the same Zig Dulay film, Gawad Buhay 2020 as Female Featured Performance in a Musical for CCP Lam Ang, Gawad Buhay 2013 for the same category for PETA’s William, and Broadway World Philippines Featured Female Performance in a play for PETA’s Bona directed by Soxie Topacio.

Anna Luna was launched by Star Magic as one of the its Circle Artists Batch 2018. Since then, she has appeared in film for at least 22 times, starred in television for 19 seasons, and acted for stage in 11 occasions. Moreover, Anna Luna has TV commercials, Youtube/ Online performances and other creative projects.
