Hailing from Australia, Jessica Dorizac has since made the Philippines her home—but not without bringing along her natural fervour for pattern and assembly.
Having been longly collaborating with her better half and fellow artist, Miguel Aquilizan, Arranging Shapes is Jessica’s first solo exhibition.
In the midst of what one can feebly associate as “random”, it’s eminent in her works that such meticulous craft goes beyond what can be made on a whim. It embodies tension between structure and destruction; maelstrom and system; peace and order.
Such desire to continuously tug opposing strings manifests, and it is through arranging shapes that Jessica delivers a story, her story.
Join us from 7PM onwards, with complimentary drinks until 10PM as well as music free of pretense by Manilaanimal and Samantha Nicole until late.
