What can art tell us about how we view nature? What is our relationship with the environment? In celebration of Earth Day, join us on a free guided tour of “In Full View: The Metropolitan Museum of Manila Collection” featuring the theme, Art and Environment. We’ll look at works by Filipino artists such as E. Aguilar Cruz, Susan Fetalvero-Roces, Prudencio Lamarroza, Imelda Pilapil, Soler Santos, and more to examine the depth of our connectedness to the earth and the ethical call to #RestoreOurEarth.
By way of a thematic lens, we will enter into artworks to spark personal dialogue and meaning-making. These virtual guided tours will refresh our perspectives on a variety of familiar themes, encouraging us to take a second look and see what we might discover.
