BABA, sino ka ba?
Feeling the spirit of Christmas may seem to be difficult due to our current situation. Being the most awaited season, our holiday hearts will surely not miss the magical celebration of Christmas in a Bridgetine way.
Over the years, it would be undeniable that students of St. Bridget College Batangas have not only been radiating their truest shine through academic performance, but so as in their skills and talents for the arts. Through the organizations under the Performing Arts Office, student-artists are able to flare these talents by showcasing them through various opportunities of artistic performances and activities.
Amidst the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Global Pandemic, St. Bridget College Batangas’ Performing Arts Office – Institutional Culture and Arts Program (SBC PAO-ICAP) in collaboration with the Repertory Brigid (SBC PAO-RB), still persevered to give joy as they once again share their blazing talents in their annual A Merry Bridgetine Christmas Carol or AMBC as what it is known. Since its inception in 2010, AMBC serenade songs to flaunt Christmas celebration in a Bridgetine way. Moreover, it has remained a platform for PAO-Talents to use their artistry in giving smiles and more so, inspiration to others.
For this year’s AMBC, the show will highlight the character of “BABA”, and will be revealed through weekly episodes of narrative song and dance performances for the whole month of December. As SBC-PAO marks its 10th year of A Merry Bridgetine Christmas Carol, no pandemic will stop these talents to make a difference in empowering us with passion as it will always pave its way to play along and warm our hearts.
