Join Sigwada Art Gallery’s first Pop-up art show!
BABAE Celebrating Women’s Month 2019
Theme:
In celebration of Women’s month, we would like to invite you to create and submit an artwork that focuses on women. What makes them the light of our home, what makes the wonderful wives and honorable daughters, what makes them beautiful inside and out, and how you, as an artist, see them.
Guidelines:
• Artists must first submit photos of their artworks for screening at sigwadaartgallery@gmail.com
• Artists can submit a maximum of 3 artworks. Minimum size 1 x 1 ft. and a maximum of 2 x 2 ft.
• Artworks can either be framed, in box type canvas or in any presentable form for the exhibition.
• New artworks are preferred. Old artworks will also be accepted, provided it is in good condition.
• Artwork prices must range starting from Php500 to Php5,000 only (artist price).
• Participating artists are encouraged to share the event poster from Sigwada Gallery’s Facebook page as well as invite guests to come to the opening of the show and its duration of 3 days.
Timeline:
Submission:
Approved artworks can be submitted on or before March 26, 2019 (10:00AM – 7:00PM)
Opening day:
The exhibit will open on March 29 at 6:00 PM and will run up to March 31, 2019 (3 days)
Retrieval:
Artworks shall be claimed on or before April 2, 2019, 10:00AM – 7:00PM
(Failure to retrieve the artworks at said date will have a penalty of Php25.00 per week.)
