Galerie Francesca is thrilled to present its highly anticipated touring exhibition, “Balangay: Navigating Artistic Horizons.” Inspired by the ancient Filipino maritime vessel known as the Balangay ⛵️, this exhibition symbolizes the gallery’s commitment to carrying its community of talented artists on a captivating voyage across the archipelago. The exhibition will traverse the Luzon Art Fair, Visayas Art Fair, and Mindanao Art Fair, showcasing the exceptional artistry of our roster of artists while fostering connections and inspiring collaborations with artists from every region.
By drawing inspiration from the Balangay’s role in connecting communities, we hope to foster a deeper appreciation for the power of art in uniting diverse perspectives. This exhibition will feature an array of works by some of the most esteemed artists of Galerie Francesca including Presidential Merit awardee Juvenal Sansó, Roel Obemio, Migs Villanueva, Anna de Leon, Francis Nacion, Kublai Millan, Janos Delacruz, Herbert Pajarito, Melissa Yeung Yap, Jonathan Dangue, Kristine Lim, Helena Alegre, Rudy Yu, Seth Corda, Kankan Ramos, Dante Enage, and Domeng Sinulid.
