Calling all Micro Businesses, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, and Innovators!

Objectives

  • To showcase and promote Calumpit-made products, processes, and services
  • To enable teams in their research, innovation, and technology concerns all geared toward commercialization
  • To support the development of products, processes, services and Start-Up companies in Calumpit by bridging and matching them to potential innovation actors

 

Major Activity

  • Pitching Competition for the sectoral communities especially by way of dancing
    • A team of 5-10 members composed of:
      • Any of these:
        • Students of any Calumpit High School, Senior High School or College
        • Underrepresented sectors (Ex. Out of school youth, women, seniors, PWDs, solo parents)
        • Industry-based sectors (Ex. Longganisa, Pottery, Sculpture, Others)
        • Or a combination of the above
      • Dancers (if needed)
  • Exhibition of Likhang Pinas products in booths

 

Support/Assistance to be given:

Cash Prize for the top 3 Teams (Sponsors for Prizes)

  • 1st Place: P15,000.00
  • 2nd Place: P10,000.00
  • 3rd Place: P5,000.00

All participants will be assisted with their needs based on their presented solutions to their problems such as but not limited to:

  • Training (financial literacy, entrepreneurship, etc.)
  • Marketing assistance
  • Intellectual Property Protection Assistance
  • Technology consultation assistance
  • Tools, machinery, equipment (facilitate donations from industries, government, and universities)
  • Link to funding assistance (Angel investors, Venture Capitalists, MSME loans, partnerships, etc.)
  • Membership in an Inventors’ Group to access government support

 

Criteria

  • The top 3 pitch dances will receive cash prizes
  • All participants will receive innovation support
  • The team name must be the proposed company name whenever they become a full-blown Start-Up company
  • Maximum of 3-minutes presentation (2 minutes dance + 1 minute pitch)
  • Use their ideas as props/themes of the presentation
  • Content
    • Technical Viability
    • Market Viability
    • Over-all creativity
