The Pista at the Park Grand Fans Day and All-Star Parade is PPP 2018’s biggest kick off happening this August 11, 2018, Saturday, 10AM onwards at the Liwasang Aurora in Quezon Memorial Circle.
The whole day FREE public event organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) promises to offer activities and whole day of fun-filled games and cultural performances from Sindaw, Kontra-GaPi and Ryan Tamondong with special performances from local artists: Mark Joseph Bornales, Mikhail Ali Hooshmand, Awkweird, Van Sulitas, Shaira Hao, Alexia Sumilang, Onin Gonzales, Cheantel Daints Caro , Edric Vanguardia and Stef Aranas.
At 2PM, the PPP All-Star Parade will start in front of the MTRCB Building in Timog and will end at Quezon Memorial Circle.
The eight (8) main films will have designed trucks boarded by their stars, as the Special Feature Section and Sine Kabataan entries.
Some of the stars joining the Pista at the Park are Markus Paterson and Sue Ramirez of ANG BABAENG ALLERGIC SA WIFI, Devon Seron, Vance Larena and Nikko Natividad of BAKWIT BOYS, Nico Antonio, Edgar Allan Guzman and Chai Fonacier of PINAY BEAUTY, Christian Bables of SIGNAL ROCK, JC Santos and Bela Padilla of THE DAY AFTER VALENTINES, Winwyn Marquez of UNLI LIFE and Erich Gonzales of WE WILL NOT DIE TONIGHT.
More than 100 passes will be raffled to the public for the whole day through PPP’s PistAmazing Race where the public can participate by just doing at least 10 out of 12 tasks to be given on the day itself. All they have to do is to download the PistApp on Google Play or App Store to qualify.
Pista at the Park is co-hosted by the Office of the Vice Mayor Quezon City (OVM) and Quezon City Film Development Commission (QCFDC) together with Pista at the Park’s official event sponsor, JCE Inflatables.
PPP runs from August 15-21, 2018 in all cinemas nationwide and is presented in partnership with National Cinemas Association of the Philippines (NCAP), Unicef, Globe Play It Right, SOLAR Entertainment Corporation, Outpost Visual Frontier, Nestle, Camella Condo Homes, ThinkBit, Sequioa Hotel.
