Happy National Arts Month!
As the National Museum of the Philippines recalibrated our public programs to the new normal, the Botany and National Herbarium Division invites our young learners at least Grades 7-10 (Junior High Students) to the Online Botanical Illustration Workshop on 24 February 2021 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM via Zoom Cloud Meetings.
The online workshop aims to provide our participants with basic techniques in creating botanical illustrations and lift their interest in displaying their artworks as a magnificent result of both arts and science. This activity will as well highlight the significant role of distinct illustrators and botanists in the discovery and conservation of the rich floral diversity of the Philippines.
Join us as we hope to inspire young Filipino students in pursuing scientific fields and to develop better understanding of our natural heritage through our online museum programs.
