DAKILA
DAKILA is an organization of artists-activists, educators, and individuals building a movement of heroism toward social transformation. It fosters active citizenship by building one’s capacity to make change, organizing communities to be part of the movement for change, and leading advocacy campaigns that bring about strategic actions for real change. Through its human rights education arm, the Active Vista Center, DAKILA facilitates learning programs that empower citizens to become advocates for human rights, democracy, and social justice. Active Vista also organizes the annual Active Vista Human Rights Festival, a platform that engages the public in critical conversations through films, art, and performances.
