Manila Urban Revolution of Sustainable Food

On June 24 from 6pm we invite you for the very first #Manila MKS Room: a recorded event blending live performance and talks connecting art and social entrepreneurship.
For this 1st edition we will talk about Manila & Sustainable food: How can we limit obesity in big cities ? How can we give access to organic food to the poorest while giving good revenues to farmers ? How to make our resources sustainable? How can we produce more and respect our environment?

For this we will have the pleasure to discuss with Dhanuka , the head of sales of Good Food Community. He will share with us the importance to connect city inhabitants with organic food and local farmers to develop the Philippines but also support sustainable production. We will also interact with Abel and Chel who are launching an enterprise to fight youth obesity in Manila.

And to give a swing to all these talks, we are very excited to receive Ukulele Philippines Ensemble, a very promising local band who has found its inner rockstars playing the ukulele. Check out their music: http://www.ukulelephilippines.com/
