Photomoto is a photographers’ collective originating in Metro Manila, open to nationwide expansion. The objective of Photomoto is to promote Philippine photography as a manifestation of our shared experience as a nation, including our diversity in perspective, including gender, socio-economic status, age and geography, and as an art form that expresses our identity and culture.
In pursuit of this objective, Photomoto will foster conversations about photography’s role in our culture, by organizing both ad hoc and regular events, and will execute an education program consisting of workshops and online resources, among others.
The inaugural exhibit opens on November 20, 2021 at Kondwi PH in Makati City, Philippines.
