Baroque is a dramatic style of art and music that was in vogue in the 17th and early 18th Century. The work that distinguishes the Baroque period is stylistically complex, even contradictory. In general, however, the desire to evoke emotional states by appealing to the senses, often in dramatic ways, underlies its manifestations. Some of the qualities most frequently associated with the Baroque are grandeur, sensuous richness, drama, vitality, movement, tension, emotional exuberance, and a tendency to blur distinctions between the various arts.
Come over to the Tiu Theater for a night of delightful Baroque music, as the Tiu Theater and Synchronea presents “Good Ode Classics”.
Featuring Ivan Nery (Tenor), Janinna Casuncad (Pianist), Issac Iglesias (Tenor), Beatrize Ricaña (Cellist), Michaela Fajardo (Soprano), and the Life Band.
Come and witness Bach, Handel, and other famous composers works of elegant music being performed by these young aspiring artists. There will be also an Intermission number performed by LIFE band playing popular songs arranged in different genres.
