“Grammatical tenses are known verbs, past, present, future tenses, it is a reflection of what state Lee Salvador threaded and wanted to showcase in this exhibition.
The past is crafted and literally framed in his works, each element is a part of the growth of the artist from signages from his hometown to the food establishment he ate with his family and friends. This is also a homage to his life as a street artist.
The present, the iteration on which his teal character is right now are different variations showing his current style, a style that is influenced by his current ideals and ordeals, things in life that he manages and wish he has control on, maybe a switch to turn off when tired and on when one is ready to face them.
The future, shown in the other side of his character, it is entities that promotes evolution, a perfect representation of transition from present to the future, it is always together side by side, another face of the coin, either which it’s the same coin. These are things in which is almost always present on the solo show of the artist, a salute to himself on his career called life.”
