This upcoming solo exhibition of JOJO RAMIREZ is a show drenched in happines and good vibes entitled, “IT’S ALL ABOUT LUXURY AND FUN RIDES”. What is fascinating in his artistic medium is that it can pull the viewer out of a sensitive world and transport him or her into the space which is more alive, eccentric, comfy and good vibes.
These latest works of him portray that life is like a carnival ride, with different stories that entail ups and downs, twist and turns.
The images he creates are coined from his inner thoughts that after gloomy days, pleasure, aggrandizement, and extravagance can be experienced . He is fascinated by the unrelenting image of fun character, an element which is combined with his captivating character “Geros”. As he explained, these images depict acts of self-preservation and a warrior’s ife. His art pieces become the vessel of the brightest thoughts from the dreg of his mind .
Further, he also intertwined the elements of classic or vintage automobile with luxurious bags that can invite the viewer on how life can be enjoyed while raising awareness on how art enhances the well-being of individual and society.
