Ugnayang Sining Tomasino presents
Kalayaan Art Exhibit (Freedom 2014)
They studied the conservative styles of renaissance masters as part of their basic art education. They spent years under the tutelage and supervision of notable art professors such as Cenon Rivera, Victorio Edades, Leonardo Hidaldo, Mario Parial and Antonio Austria. Now that they have established themselves and earned individual distinctions in the varied arts, these fourteen products and former students of the University of Santo Tomas formed a group called Ugnayang Sining Tomasino four years after their Alma Mater’s quadricentennial anniversary.
Having mostly finished Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Painting from the pontifical university during the late 70s and early 80s, members of the Uganayang Sining Tomasino will soon showcase their artworks at Los Angeles, California USA.
