To celebrate the National Women’s Month, the Embassy of Belgium in Manila and the Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University cordially invite you on Tuesday March 03 to the screening of the documentary “The Man Who Mends Women” on the life and work of Dr. Denis Mukwege at Escaler Hall Auditorium, Ateneo de Manila University. The registration is at 8:30 am.
In 2018, Dr. Denis Mukwege, together with Nadia Murad, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, “for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict”.
An exchange of views with the Belgian journalist and the scriptwriter Ms. Colette Braeckman will take place after the screening of the film.
