This Valentine’s Day, we want to send our love to all couples, friends, and families alike by spreading joy and romantic vibes at the country’s flagship park, Rizal Park (Luneta) and the walled city of Intramuros.
The National Parks Development Committee, in partnership with Intramuros Administration, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and The Old Manila Eco-Market proudly bring “LOVE IN THE PARK: A VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL! on 14 February 2020, Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Noli Me Tangere Garden, Central Section, Rizal Park.
Take a romantic trip in the historic Manila through the free hop-on and hop-off tranvia ride from Fort Santiago to Rizal Park Visitor’s Center from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pit stops include Plaza Roma, Plazuela de Sta. Isabel, Plaza San Luis, President’s Gallery, and Rizal Park’s Aguinaldo House along Ma. Orosa. Buskers from Alab at Sinag Pilipinas are also featured in Fort Santiago from February 12-14, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Connecting love through arts, pocket activities such as Henna Tattoo and Portrait Sketching are also offered to the public for free starting 3:00 p.m. at the Noli Me Tangere Garden in Rizal Park. Lucky park-goers can win exciting prizes by capturing their experience through taking photos with their loved ones at the various Valentine-themed decoration at the park. Couples and friends may also express their commitment and seal their love through the love locks at the park.
A special Acoustic and Spoken Poetry Night starring singer-songwriter RAFFY CALICDAN who is famous for his songs Dear Ex and Ikaw Pa Rin which became the official soundtrack of Alex Gonzaga’s movie Nakalimutan ko ng Kalimutan Ka. Joining him is ANNA AQUINO, ASK KAROL, acoustic duo GIACOUSTIC, and spoken word artists from Alab at Sinag Pilipinas – SKYE and LAKAN.
While feeding the ears with beautiful music, everyone can enjoy and pick among the tasty, healthy, and sustainable treats brought by The Old Manila Eco-Market, which will run from February 14 to 15, 2020 at the Noli Me Tangere Garden, Rizal Park.
