Black cats are honored as protectors in Feng Shui, but what happens when we fail to protect them?
Ku Romillo’s second solo show grapples with this question through her unfiltered expression of vulnerability and grief. The title of her exhibit, “Mea Culpa”, is a Latin phrase meaning “through my fault”. This statement is an admission of her own shortcomings but also a means by which she redeems herself.
