Asistores attended the Philippine High School for the Arts in 2013 and later earned his high school diploma at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. For his college freshman year, he went to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has since taken up masterclasses by David Russell, Marcin Dylla, Manuel Barrueco, Fabio Zanon, Margarita Escarpa, Eduardo Fernandez, Thomas Vilotau, and Xavier Jara, among many others. He was also in Lille, France, under the tutelage of Judicael Perroy and Carlo Marchione.
In 2017, he had his orchestral debut at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, performing Concierto de Aranjuez alongside the Manila Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jeffrey Solares. As a solo and chamber musician, he has performed concerts worldwide and has been featured in national radio shows such as DZFE 98.7 “Bravo Filipino,” “Maestro Filipino,” and DWBR 104.3 “Harana ng Puso.” He also recently placed 2nd in the 2023 Dutch Guitar Foundation Competition in the Netherlands.
