Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ

This month, Little Mustard Seed launches a beautiful new song entitled, MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, in honor of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and His redeeming love and sacrifice on the cross. Among Catholics worldwide, the whole month of July is dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. This devotion dates back to the time of Jesus’ passion, when His blood was shed on calvary for our salvation.

The lyrics of the song consists of 12 words repeated throughout:

Most Precious Blood Jesus Christ, save us and the whole world!

It is a reparation prayer revealed by our Blessed Mother to a young boy in Africa in the 1990s. Priest-exorcist Fr. James Blount of the Society of our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) frequently recommends that this be recited often–at least 500 times a day. In his ministry, this effective prayer of deliverance has been miraculous and used for those suffering from despair, sadness, hopelessness, addiction, and brokenness.

Little Mustard Seed’s music for MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST was inspired by the meditative singing style of Taizé. The song begins with a simple melody which uniquely progresses into new layers of melodic lines, combining into a wondrous “polyphony” of prayer. Individuals, families, choirs, congregations, prayer groups, and all who seek refuge and healing are invited to sing along to the words of this powerful prayer.

MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST was composed and vocally arranged by K. Sheerin Go. It is sung by a family of three generations and features Francis, Jeff, K Sheerin, and grandmother, Elena. The uplifting musical arrangement was delightfully made by Gino Torres.
