Patrick Esmao’s works for “Narrations in Geometry” is intended to stimulate visual sensation and explore the relation between emotion, complexity, organic patterns, and visual sensation. Geometric structure is common in nature at very small scales, as Esmao’s works are depicted as exploring the relationship between the very large and the very small in nature.
A departure from his known abstracted natural forms painted in flowing colors, Perfecto Palero emerges with a new approach in painting and visual imagery. For “Illumine”, Palero brings interest in the unified light and pattern of nature. The works explore the abstract patterns formed by reflected light on the fields and meadows at dawn and dusk. His colors strike a delicate balance between simplification and detail which include enough visual cues to recognize the landscape vista, but few enough that it doesn’t distract from the artist’s primary interest: light.
