The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO), the country’s premier orchestra, returns to the concert hall for live performances on its 39th season. With the theme “Switch,” the series of season concerts sets the stage for its new Music Director and Principal Conductor, Maestro Grzegorz Nowak; a much-sought-after conductor with a long career in opera and concerts. Maestro Nowak first performed with the PPO last year in the second concert of the PPO’s previous season at the CCP Main Theater. The PPO also ‘switches’ venues as it moves to its temporary home at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, while the CCP is undergoing rehabilitation. PPO’s 39th Concert Season will showcase an outstanding roster of international guest soloists and renowned Filipino artists that promise a delightful and uplifting classical music experience.
