Art Show Philippines presents “Reimagine: Recreated Masterpieces” featuring works of 48 Filipino contemporary artists who incorporated their creative influence and modern perspective into the works by Old Masters and contemporary artists alike. In adding elements or features into prominent works of art from the Renaissance through the 19th century, the Masterpieces are reimagined into new works of art or inserted into contemporary settings, thus promoting an evolved kind of art appreciation by stimulating the viewers into learning more about a particular artist, period or work of art.
From Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa to Monay Lisa and Fernando Amorsolo’s Dalaga sa Kabukiran to Narda sa Kabukiran, this online exhibition bring centuries-old masterpieces into the 21st century present-day interpretations.
