Looking forward is the inspiration of the series “Romancing the Inevitable”. Visually, this is a satirical way of glimpsing the Earth’s future scenery.
The head represents the outcome of climate change, and the future landscape of low-lying cities around the world; which came from the ill effects of ozone depletion. Furthermore, the conception challenges the audience in a discourse to communicate with oneself, and to question the human behavior and its inability to change.
A solo exhibition of Vincent Padilla, a visual artist who wishes to educate and spark change through the utilization of installation art.
