SOLONG AKI
Working in film production as musical director, film scorer and as actress. Solong Aki’s talent and art is multi-faceted.
Solong Aki is a Bikolana singer-songwriter from Pili, Camarines Sur. She wants to encourage people to live out God’s calling/purpose and to lead others in nation building through her music. Her musical influences include classical music, Joey Ayala, Grace Nono, and Bayang Barrios
She is also a Zero Waste advocate and Permaculturist, An active member ALAB (Awit Likha Alay kay Bathala) band and Musika Publiko

NONONG ICARANOM
Our next featured artist is a member of the trio- composers group called ISLA of Catanduanes circa 1993.
Nonong Icaranom is from Virac, Catanduanes. This amazing Bicolano singer-songwriter, arranger and producer uses his music to promote Virac-bicol unique dialect through his original compositions. As of the moment he is part of VOCESCATANDUANES – a group of specially selected session musicians and singers that aims to preserve classic bicol songs flavored with modern hew to introduce, create awareness and attract the new generation.
Nonong also contributes to tourism industry of the province in his own simple way by using his original music with music videos shot in different tourist locations in Catanduanes and posting them online.
TIANO LELIS
Tiano Lelis from Naga City, Camarines Sur is a fellow in Baguio City Philpop Bootcamp 2017. This amazing singer-songwriter was also tapped to create a soundtrack (Taob o Tihaya) for the film “Viral Kids”, a film directed by Arjanmar Rebeta of Pelikmata Production and Co-produced by ABS-CBN.
But ultimately, Tiano aims to promote OPM songs as part of Filipino Culture and to encourage others to write original songs. His musical influences include Rico Blanco, Rivermaya, Ebe Dancel, Parokya ni Edgar, ItchyWorms, Ben and Ben, and Noel Cabangon.

MEI TEVES

Mei Teves from Virac Catanduanes is one of Alab at Sinag’s indie x Indie finalist. This talented young Bicolana Singer-Somgwriter is making her own mark in the indie music scene by giving powerful performances in any venue she step-in. When you hear her sing you can actually hear her heart. Together with Fred Engay, they will release a song entitled “Mauli” (Bicol Song) in December 2019 on Spotify.

SANTY LEONARDO
Santy Leonardo form Naga City, Camarines Sur is the main Vocalist/ Guitarist of Ybarra and Afterkol Band. He is an advocate of Original Pilipino Music, Peace, environment and Social Justice. His main musical influences include Beatles, rivermaya, eraserheads, U2, sugarfree, & Gary Granada. You can see him at Songwriters Night at Conspiracy per invitation.
He is currently an admin of Songwriters Phils and IvoryMusic. He is also Filscap member. This year he was chosen as one of the performers for the prestigious Filscap Select.
VANZ BONAOBRA
Vanz Bonaobra did not grow up in Bicol but his blood is pure Bicolano. His mother is from Albay while his father is from Naga. This amazing singer-songwriter from the Polyeast Record label wants his music to inspire and share a story to help others to voice out their feelings and thoughts. Vanz Bonaobra is a mentor to his Alab at Sinag family of musicians. If he has a free time he shares his knowledge and experience since he started as an indie artist as well. Vanz already has gotten many achievements but for him the most important lesson to be successful – “character is the key” 😊

Our next featured busker is believe or not a former Pastor.
Jethro Al grew up in Sto.Domingo Albay. Right now he is a regular busker in Intramuros every Sunday as an expression of his freedom and love for music. He wants to connect to people, make difference and to bring some light and hope to everyone specially to those people who will hear his songs.
