SCULPTURES SPEAK: EKPHRASTIC POETRY READING
Facilitated by Carlomar Daoana in response to
Inscapes: A Retrospective by Agnes Arellano
Join us for a night of poetry and art at Sculptures Speak: Ekphrastic Poetry Reading!
Inspired by works from Inscapes: A Retrospective by Agnes Arellano, selected students from the Ateneo Fine Arts Department will be sharing their poems about Arellano’s installation and the various themes that her works touch upon such as Sacred Feminine, life and death, and yin/yang. Get a chance to meet and hear also from our guest writers, Marne Kilates and Mookie Katigbak-Lacuesta.
This event is free and open to the public.
Sculptures Speak: Ekphrastic Poetry Reading is presented by the Ateneo Art Gallery and Areté, in partnership with Ateneo Fine Arts Department.
