Shaila Vanschoonhoven is a Filipino born on November 4, 2008, in South Korea.
At the age of 12, she realized her passion for modeling and acting. She also developed a strong interest in watching beauty pageants, which inspired her to pursue a career in modeling. One of her idols is Catriona Gray.
Currently, she is actively participating in modeling and acting workshops to further hone her skills. She has a strong desire to enter the entertainment industry and dreams of becoming a well-known actress one day.
In her pursuit of a career in showbiz, she manages to balance her studies with her involvement in film projects.
At present, she is working on improving her acting skills and developing other talents, such as singing, dancing, and modeling.
Her advice to others who aspire to enter showbiz is that hard work and perseverance are key to achieving one’s dreams in life.
She has already been featured in two educational short films shown in schools in her hometown of Bulacan. She has also appeared in an SM commercial and, at the age of 7, was part of an episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK).
Despite occasionally feeling tired from her acting work, she is very happy and always gives her best while continuing her studies.
Shaila is highly dedicated and hardworking in her chosen career. She also listens closely to the advice and instructions of her talent manager, John Rey Malto.
