About the Exhibition

“Somewhere in France” is an exhibition showcasing Baldemor’s artistic explorations in France since 1973, the year he represented the Philippines at the XIV International Exhibition in Paris.

As an artist deeply inspired by his travels, Baldemor’s works capture the beauty and culture of France through a unique lens. Notably, in 2009, Baldemor collaborated with French artists François Sand and Sylvie Henot to create a 3′ x 5′ mosaic mural depicting the People Power Revolution. This masterpiece is permanently displayed at the Basilica of St. Thérèse de Lisieux in Normandy, a profound symbol of cultural exchange and artistry.

Experience Baldemor’s rich artistic legacy as he invites viewers on a journey through his memories and interpretations of France.
