The works of Madrid-born Vicente Romero have been exhibited in major shows and galleries in the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, and China and in his home country of Spain. Vicente Romero graduated with honors from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Fernando, one of the most prestigious art schools in Spain and the alma mater of surrealist painter Salvador Dali. Vicente Romero further honed his art by working as a street painter and by making pastel portraits in villages along the coasts of Tenerife, Majorca and Ibiza, before he finally resided in sunny Costa Brava where the light and scenery have greatly inspired him. His works have been hailed for their incredible illumination and intimate charm. The website, Artists Network said, “Enchanting light and inclusion of delightful details, adds to the magical caught-in-the-moment quality of Spanish artist Vicente Romero.”
