After a month hiatus, our SYNERGY SESSIONS – Fire, Flow Arts + Drum Community Gathering is back! And this time w/ a bang! Alongside our usual fire + drum jams, FREEBURN – Fire Performance Gear will also be launching with FREE fire poi and other goodies to be raffled off! (through door-registration stubs).
Time & date: 9pm-2am, Friday, July 11, 2014 @ BSIDE, The Collective, Malugay St., Makati
SYNERGY SESSIONS is a fire/flow art/drum community meet up w/ our flow brothers and sisters Planet Zips : Poi Philippines, Flow Arts Philippines, and our friends from the Adinkra Lumads Djembe Community. This event is a joint effort by our communities, supported by our venue partner B – SIDE (The Collective).
EVENT FLOW:
9-10:30pm – Flow Art Documentary & Video screenings
10:30-11pm – Open drum and fire community jam (ROUND 1)
11pm-12am – DJ Christman + drinks + dancing!
12-12:30am – Open drum and fire community jam (ROUND 2)
12:30am onwards – DJ Christman + drinks + dancing!
This event is FREE FOR ALL. So EVERYONE is welcome! All participants, please bring your own drums, fire props and fuel. We will be strict with safety procedures, prop care and making sure everyone has a fun, but respectful time.
WEATHER ALERT: As we all know, the weather has been erratic lately, so we will be keeping any rainchecks posted on this invite. Please keep your fingers crossed for dry weather!
